Profile on Jason Douglas
Jason Douglas was born on the twenty ninth (29th) day of April, nineteen hundred and seventy eight (1978) to christian parents, Charles and Bibianna Douglas, in the beautiful Isle of Spice, Grenada. He was the first of eight children and was privileged to receive an education at all levels (primary, secondary and Tertiary), registering good success especially at the secondary and tertiary levels. He is a qualified teacher by profession in the areas of Mathematics and Physics.
At the tender age of nine Jason realized his need for a saviour and under the leadership of his mother, prayed to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. However, he drifted back into the world during his teenage years but in 1996 at the age of eighteen (18) the Lord miraculously caught his attention and he rededicated his life to the Lord and has never turned back since. As a matter of fact, Jason went on to Bible School at the Open Bible Institute (Grenada) and completed a three year diploma course (1999 - 2002) with an average G.P.A. of 4.0 earning him the Gold Cord and the opportunity to speak, at his graduation, on behalf of his class, as the valedictorian (TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!).
In December of 2004, Jason married the love of his life, Doris amidst trying circumstances after hurricane Ivan. God has indeed been good to them and in February of 2007 blessed them with a bouncing baby boy named Yệshuwa. Doris is also serving the Lord in the areas of singing, dancing and teaching and like Jason, is a qualified teacher by profession.
In January of 2007, Jason was ordained a minister in the service of the Lord at Praise and Deliverance Sanctuary Int’l (PADSI). At present he serves in the music ministry and is the leader of the Shekinah Ministries. He also teaches/preaches not just in PADSI but has done so in Grenada, Cariacou and St. Vincent. He has been involved in missions in St. Vincent, Barbados and Trinidad. At his place of work, Jason serves as a facilitator of the Inter-School Christian Fellowship (I.S.C.F.) and leads devotion (during the lunch time).
Jason’s purpose in life is to do the will of God wherever he is placed and he has plans of furthering his studies in theology. God’s will must be done in the nations of the earth and it starts with us!
